Need some opinions: I have the opportunity to purchase a Blake Griffin National Treasures RC for slightly below book value. The card looks good, but the signature appears to have some streaking in it (in the B and in the line that crosses the G). How do you think BGS would grade the signature? See attached picture in thumbnail.

Normally I would not scrutinize a signature this much, but $2500+ is a ton of money for me, and a huge investment for a single card.

Thoughts? Go for it, or hold out for a better option?

Not sure how they would grade the signature, but you could get it graded without grading the signature. Just a thought.

Great looking card, good luck whatever you do!

Good eyes....still what do you think of it?

I wonder if it means anything that it has been available for a while...

Honestly, I've seen autos like this get a 9, and some get a 10. It seems like auto grades are more strict now, would not surprise me if it got a 9.

If u send the card to get graded, just add a note. Saying if the card doesn't get atleast a 9.5 w/ a 10 auto, just have it Slabbed "Authentic" w/ an auto grade, and if the auto doesn't get a 10, just have it slabbed "authentic" w/ NO auto grade, I'd go with that process.
