Sport Kings Master Case Group Break

Alright Guys,

Because of the interest I see in doing this "master" case break of Sport Kings, I have decided to start an official thread. Here is the way it will work:

I will order and video tape a break of an 18-box Master case of Sport Kings from Blowout. This 18-box case is divided up into six 3-box cases. Each 3 box case will be divided up into 11 slots as follows:

9 Auto/Memorabilia slots...
1 slot for all the 1933 parallel size cards (3 cards total)
1 slot for all the base cards (9 cards total)

There will be a total of 66 slots.

Each slot will cost $102 delivered. (I will need to hear from Chris at Blowout to make sure I don't take a big loss on this price, but I think it's doable).

I will have the case shipped overnight, and I will either break it the same day I receive it, or first thing the following morning. I will ship out all slots to each buyer the same day of the break.

Each buyer will need to Paypal me, or send a money order/cashier's check, (pm me for my address), a few days prior to scheduled release date. Right now that date is Novermber 1st, meaning I will need your payment by October 26th. Any slots that are not paid for by then can be purchased by anyone else that wants them.

I will start adding the user names of each member that commits to buying slots in the next post. I will edit it as new names appear.

I just heard back from Chris regarding the price I could get the Sport Kings master case for. Sport Kings told him they are sold out now, and the price has went up $350 per master case over the weekend! At 66 slots, that would equal an increase of $5.30 per slot.

Chris is giving us a good price since this is a "group" case break, but I will still need to charge an additional $3 per slot in order to reduce my loss on this break. Please let me know if you are still in for the slots you committed to at $102 now instead of $99.

Paypal fees are going to be significant on this group case break since it's such a high dollar item. I'm sure I will still be taking a small loss on this break, but I don't mind at all. I hope we can still do this. It would be a lot of fun seeing what our members will pull from this case.

Keep in mind that at $102 per slot and 66 slots in this break, that equals $6732, which is still less than what Chris is now selling the cases for on his sight, and doesn't include any Paypal or shipping fees. With the break he's giving us, $102 delivered should be the break-even price.

The updated list for this "master" case break of Sportkings is on the first page, second post.

Sportkings announced that this product is now going to be live on November 1st instead of October 25th. They also said that they have all of the autos in hand now! I'll keep my fingers crossed, but hopefully this won't be delayed any more.

All payments to me will need to be made by Friday, October 26th. I will keep you posted with any other information. Still some slots left.

Okay Guys,

All payments so far are updated in the 2nd post on the first page. We have 55 slots spoken for, leaving 11 left if anyone else wants in.

All slots need to be paid for by day's end this Friday, October 26th. Those that haven't paid by then will risk losing their slots to anyone else that wants them.

In the event that all slots are not paid for, I will take them. I'm not a big fan of the breaker participating in slots, but I think we all want this break to be a complete Master case and not just several boxes. I will take random slots just like everyone else, OR if there were 11 slots not paid for for instance, we could randomly leave a 3-box case unopened. We can decide on this the first part of next week. Personally, I think we need to open every box in the case for the best shot at the best hits.

Let me know if any of you want any of the remaining slots, and if I have left anyone out. This should be a lot of fun, and some of us should get some really good cards.

To be clear as to what each slot is, below is how I will number each one:

This master case has 18 boxes. It is divided up into SIX 3-box inner cases. Each 3-box case will have 11 slots. The first 9 slots (numbered 1 through 9 in order), will be the 9 Auto/Memorabilia slots as they are pulled in order. The 10th slot will be all of the 1933 parallel size cards, (3 cards total), and the 11th slot will be all of the base cards in that 3-box case, (9 cards total). This will be repeated for each 3-box case.

Here is the break down again for each 3-box case:

9 Auto/Memorabilia slots...
1 slot for all the 1933 parallel size cards (3 cards total)
1 slot for all the base cards (9 cards total)

So does this mean that "wunderkindcards" gets the first "hit" in the first box, whether it's an auto or memorbilia, and "danimal" gets the 2nd "hit", and so on and so on?? (In order the way it's packaged)

When you do the break are you going to say, "and the first card, which goes to blahblahblah, is ............" or is it just going to be quick and we're gonna have to memorize our slot #?

I think i heard somewhere that some or all of the base may be numbered, don't quote me. with only 4500 packs, it seems likely that they'll be tough to put together a set of.

LOL. I meant base card, but I do believe it has a game used version with its "racing silks".

The reason I think people will want it is because it's different. But who knows, perhaps not enough people will know it exists.
