I had to drop my dad off at the hospital in Baltimore (nothing major, he's ok) and had a couple hours to kill. Went to my LCS but didn't want to drop a ton of money, so I just started busting packs for fun. In the end, I got 9 hits and a bunch of parallels and spent about the price of 1 Prestige box...

First, I just got a few jersey cards, but not too bad for a few packs:

2010 Classics Darren Sproles GU jersey /299
2011 Prestige Adrian Peterson GU jersey /250
2011 Prestige Sydney Rice GU jersey /250
2010 Threads Combos Eddie George/Chris Johnson GU jersey /200

Then it started heating up a bit...

PC HIT 2011 Prestige Chris Cooley 3-color patch (huge Skins fan) non-numbered (odd?)
2011 Prestige Ed Reed 3-color patch (ironic cuz shop is in Bmore!) /30

Then a few autos..

2011 Prestige John Clay Auto /1499
2010 Threads Joe McKnight Letterman patch auto /385

My last break was 5 packs of Classics. I had already hit the GU card above, so I figured my other 4 Classics packs didn't have much. Well, in the last pack of 5...

2010 Classics Significant Signatures Legend blue parallel auto
JOHN ELWAY #4/7

It's perfectly crisp, centered, corners are flawless. Shop owner said it looked so good to him I should get it graded, but so low numbered would it do me any good?

Anyways, this was my BEST day of just pack busting ever! Probably spent around $80 total on all these packs. :D

Thanks guys, it was fun! I went to Sports Card Depot in Parkville. Ed is the owner.

I don't know what to do with the Elway. I know it's not an uber-valuable card, but it's still really cool to me!

awesome hit on the Elway. I would get it graded solely for the protection.

Yeah BCO usually has decent prices, but I like Ed better and he always hooks me up. Gives me breaks if I pay cash, usually throws in a free pack here and there, saves me on tax, etc. Real good guy, but Baseball Card Outlet has a cool shop too and they are usually very competitive pricing.
