Finally got my first negative...

Probably around 2000 transactions later, mostly selling, I finally got my first ebay negative feedback. Here's the story you be the judge if it was appropriate.

Card sold for $2.51 with shipping at $2.59. Invoice sent a couple hours after auction end. Buyer does not pay. Automatic NPB set for 8 days. Buyer pays on day 8 after after NPB case opened. Payment received 04/24/11. Card shipped 04/25/11 and received by buyer on 04/29/11 in toploader/padded envelope. No messages about any problems. Buyer then waits approximately 45 days before leaving negative feedback. Ebay won't remove.

Not really complaining as a lot of sellers seem to have bad luck with these types of buyers. I just wondered when my first would happen.

That sucks but it's only Ebay....

I am also very honest but have around 365 positive feedback - with one negative. Buyer backed out of deal. I told him he needed to pay, he got mad and left me nasty feedback. It happens but again, it's not the end of the world....

Sorry about the neg. Looks like this buyer has a habit of giving negatives, looking at the feedback he's left there's several negs in the last 25-30, and looks like he's trying to force his own shipping rates by leaving negs. Yikes. Thank you for the heads up.

The only negative I ever received, (it's been a few years ago now), was from someone that I had to file a claim against for not paying. The buyer was removed from ebay shortly thereafter, but not my negative.
