Looks like he still can't grip a bat and they are taking the conservative route and he'll be out until August they are saying. Bummer, I was looking for some added offense on my fantasy team!

Brett Lawrie was drafted by the Brewers out of Canada in 2008 and was originally a catcher. Was moved to 2nd base in hopes of reaching the majors faster. Calling card has always been his bat and was traded to the Blue Jays this past off season for Shawn Marcum. Was moved to third base by the Blue Jays and was slated to be called up at the beginning of June until he was hit on the hand with a pitch.
