Hey guys I have ALOT of cards I don't need and I feel generous so how about a contest! You'll have to do some math though:eek:

You can call this a scavenger hunt I guess:)! I hope you're good at math!

Here's how it works: all I want in your post is to be a number. Here's an example of what it's gonna be like

Example Player: John Jones
1985 Topps Card # + height in inches - number of letters in hometown state divided by number of runs in 1982

Get it? Kinda?

Well here's the actual one
Player: Dillon Gee (P, Mets)
(Card Number of 2011 Topps Series 1) + (Games Played in 2010) x (What # pick he was by the mets in 07) — (His height in inches)
And divide that all by his 2011 Topps Heritage Card #

Winner gets a Troy Tulo Xfractor. Good luck and one guess per day. Remember order of operations;)

Mike,

I got 19.0331492. I know thats not between .01 and 10, but Im about 99.9% sure its correct.

Games played (5) x Pick # (663) = 3315

3315 + Topps Series 1 # (203) = 3518

3518 - Height in Inches (73 - He is listed at 6'1") = 3445

3445 / Topps Heritage # (181) = 19.033.....

Or Im bad at math =p

Doubled checked and I am right his topps card # is 203 he played 5 games he was the 663 over all draft he is 6'1 which is 73" his Heritage card is 181

203 + 5 x 663 - 73 divided by 181 = 761.497238

You know - I wish the OP would confirm his math is right! If it is, we're all off for different reasons - but I'll take the literal equation and come up with - 30.8895

Topps Card #203, games played in 2010 33 - 5 major and 28 minor, he was the Met's 24 pick in 2007, Height is 73 inches, and the Heritage card is #181

203+33=236
236*24=5664
5664-73=5591
5591/181=30.8895

This is the closest. What went wrong with mine is that for games played I looked on the back of his 2011 rookies and didn't realize it was stats from the minors. So I put 28 games. And the draft thing was 21! 21st pick by the mets, not overall. I'll send him the tulo and run another contest and make sure everything's perfect :)!
