Beautiful stuff. How do you know your Murray and Ripken patch autos have fake patches?

I bought the Murray and Ripken from the same seller. I opened up the magnetic case on the Murray and the patch fell out. It's the same jersey put on two cards. And I found out that 2009 Ripken had no patches just swatches in the set. I confronted seller and he played dumb. Before I could send back cards, he had them relisted. So I decided to keep the fakes and not let another collector get screwed. The seller has been changing IDs and several other collectors informed me.

Wow, that is crazy. Thanks for the info. Has this been a common issue with the jumbo patch autos?

It's a common issue with ALL relic cards.

Well, I think for some it would be uncommon because it would damage the card to a large degree and the person could not get away with it. Like these for example.
