Topps Chrome 2008 + Gridiron Gear 2008 (sick hit in Gridiron)

Hey all I'm new here

Well I went to the card shop a few days back and picked up a box of Topps Chrome and Gridiron Gear

busted the Chrome first and was kinda happy with it

Notable Rookies:

Matt Ryan REFRACTOR (really happy with that)

Jonathan Stewart ( PC :) )

Felix Jones

Steve Slaton

Brian Brohm

Matt Flynn

Tashard Choice.

Then the auto was

Malcolm Kelly

so I thought it was pretty nice thanks to the Matt Ryan


then I opened the gridiron

started off weak with a Brodie Croyle 03/25 3 color patch

then the big hit:

Brett Favre 1/10 dual patch auto

finished with a Ben Roethlisberger jersey

so I was pumped about that

and also got a Matt Ryan next generation RC /500

yea I just started opening it this year

1st box (Christmas) yielded a D-mac jersey, Willis McGahee dual patch, and an Eddie Royal 3 color patch auto /25 (SICK)

so as you can tell, I love it and was my favorite product last year :D

topps chrome is pretty sweet too

Yeah Gridiron has been my favorite product for the past two years. This year I have yet to pull a regular rc auto after 8 or 10 boxes, all have been game-used auto's. I pulled a 3 clr bart starr auto /5 out of last years product so that Favre is a nice pull. Congrats:)!

they only thing i hate is the hot boxes! they truly suck. i would rather have the 3 nice hits instead of 9 plain old nasty 1 color , odd numbered jersey cards. LOL

yea I know, I saw some people on youtube get the hot boxes and they were truly..well..bad

so I was hoping just a nice box with an auto and a patch/2 patches or whatever (or a pull-out auto, want one of those bad)

but hey the Favre is good with me too :p

Nice Favre!! Knew there was a reason I've always been a big fan of GG as well. Course I was pulling the sickest patches from it when it first came out in 05!

Yeah I'd only pulled 1 patch since my first box of GG

I seriously thought I was immune to patch cards haha
