I've been keeping a thread updated about my 8 1/2 week wait for some 2011 Bowman Autos that were missing out of 8 boxes I bought 3 didn't have any autos or Redemptions... It was a long drawn out mess, Topps had an error with their system, the Fulfillment Center never got my request for replacements until about a week and a half ago.

Topps actually suprised me today, first time ever, and I got a big thick envelope. I was expecting 3, maybe 4 autos that were missing from the 3 boxes. I opened the envelope and there were 12 small envelopes in between a bunch of padding. Each one had an auto from 2011 Bowman Baseball!

I got these Prosepct Autos:

-Brandon Belt
-Jedd Gyorko
-Jonathan Villar
-Rick Hague
-Adonis Cardona
-Ben Gamel
-Carlos Perez (Jays)
-Mason Williams
-Sammy Solis

And I got these Rookie Autos:
-Dillon Gee
-Brent Morel
-Chris Sale

They're all base autos, but they more than made up for the 3,4 missing hits that were in the 8 boxes I bought. I was suprised I got the Belt, its clearly the best one out of the bunch at this time. I'm a little bit bummed out that the prices dropped so much during the time since 2011 Bowman released because I usually sell the hits I get from teams I don't collect. Not a whole lot worth too much here, but it was the thought that counts. They didn't have to send me 12 autos to make up for all of this but they did.

Now if they can only send me a nicer Freddie Freeman Blue Refractor Auto RC than they did at first I'll love them. The one they sent me from a redemption I bought off someone had scratches all over Freddie, horizontal/diagonal/vertical, I never saw a new card look that bad before. What was strange was that the rest of the card was nice, no scratches anywhere except all over the player. I just had to send it back in I couldn't accept it being as I mainly collect Braves/Pirates, and I collect a lot of Blue Refractor Auto RCs. I have the 2009 Bowman Blue Freddie Auto and I hope I get a nice 2011 to match it.

My friend sent me a Freddie Freeman Refractor that wasn't that nice also, he redeemed it and sent it to me when it came- it has a little chip out of the back and it looks like 1 of the corners is messed up from someone putting it in the sleeve at Topps, but I don't think its worth sending back in because of all the problems I've had with their cards this past year. Its a little bad but not totally unacceptable like the Blue Refractor. Its PC anyway so it doesn't have to be perfect. I just like my more expensive cards as nice as possible.

I will probably be buying some Topps products again after they made up for everything like this, the whole 2011 Bowman thing had me so sour and fed up with the customer service that I stopped buying Hobby Boxes all together and just picked up a single or 2 a week off the 'bay.
