I honestly have no words to describe this stupidity. The seller also has several other "dual autos" if you are interested.

What is the point of having 2 autos on one card?

He can do whatever he wants with his own cards. Maybe, unlike most of you, he has concerns other than the money value.

True, but why sell them on eBay if he isn't concerned with the monetary value?

Why get a card signed that's already signed by the same player?

Because there are a lot of people who like something different. Maybe there will be someone else who likes cards signed multiple times. Whatever the reason, it's none of our business. He isn't doing anything dishonest and to criticize him is crazy.

To criticize someone who gets an autograph card signed a second time by the same player is crazy? I think we may have found the seller. Seriously though, where does it end? If he got it signed two more times and called it a "quad auto" would that be cool with you?

Hahah that is really weird, I understand getting jersey cards, plates, refractors, base, etc signed. but why the heck would he get an auto card resigned?

Nice try but he is selling them. So his concerns is nothing BUT money value. And while they are his cards now he handed them to a playing in order to "increase" the value, which like yourself he should have just shut his mouth.
I wonder what the players are thinking when he asks them to re-sign.

Haha I just want to know what his response is when they say "You do know this is already autographed don't you?"

I hate to say this, and I'm sure it wasn't his reason for having him sign this in person, but the original auto on that card shows every sign of being a fake if you compare it to the real IP auto. Look at the style and connectivity of the letters in the IP sig and compare it to the slow, disconnected letters of the original auto. Sure, maybe Arencibia adjusted his signature in time or whatever, but they look markedly different. Look how his J and P and P and A all connect in the IP, as well as here in this one I have from Bowman: the UD sig looks like a fraud in comparison:

Wait a second? We put out a harmless comment and you are telling us to shut my mouth? Do you come on here and pick a fight? How do you know that he didn't get it autographed beforehand and then decided to sell it later on?
We suggest you find peace in your life. Attacking people because they are smarter than you makes card collectors look like the bottom of America.

We don't use eBay anymore. YES, IT IS. HE CAN DO WHAT HE WANTS. IF SOMEONE DID IT TO YOUR CARDS, YOU COULD GET ANGRY. BUT IF HE WANTS TO GET HIS CARDS AUTOGRAPHED MULTIPLE TIMES, HE CAN. WHY CAN'T PEOPLE BE CONCERNED ABOUT THEIR OWN MISERABLE LIFE AND LEAVE THE SELLER ALONE?
However, we want to thank you for not telling us to shut up like that sleazy prospector. Apparently, you are a civil human being.

In all honesty, this whole thing is good for the seller. Now he has a bunch of people looking at his other auctions. We guess some of your great business skills and Ivy League educations have allowed you to see this far before we have.

Whoa...chill out man. I started this thread to merely point out something that I thought to be stupid/comical. However, you are the one who made the first potshot by stating the following: Maybe, unlike most of you, he has concerns other than the money value.
Whether you agree with it or not, getting an autographed card signed a second time by the same player is completely moronic.

Now, we are not saying you did anything wrong. We are merely pointing out the responses this topic has received. Getting an autograph card signed twice is not moronic but it is definitely unwise. However, it is his card and if he likes it that way, he can get it signed again. It doesn't hurt us so the comments I have seen here are unwarranted.
We are not referring to you, rather the posters on this thread. We also find it a little funny that someone would have it signed.
edit: you are calling this stupidity.....doing something you don't like is stupidity?

Look man/woman/people, as previously stated, I began this thread to share something funny/dumb with other members of the board. You came in and implied that we were money hungry, uneducated individuals. Well, I take that back. You said directly that we were money hungry. I understand what you are saying, but please, take your opinions elsewhere. I have read some of your other posts and a large number of them consist of nothing more than an attempt to cause controversy and be abrasive (which you are obviously attempting to replicate here).

You may continue to rumble off your silly thoughts. We, however, have much more important matters to deal with, such as attending to our two multi-million dollar companies.
