You may be able to dump your stuff on FeeBay, I'm sure for much lower than you paid, but I don't know one Astros collector on this forum for your stuff :D

Too bad...

Glad I sold my Cosart red refractor for $120 a few weeks ago.

Who cares ? If Cosart or Singleton are the real deal down the line more than just Stros fans will buy them up.

As a phillies fan you almost have to expect them to trade their prospects. With a system as deep as they have, it's hard to hold on to all your prospects.

Not only this but in another organization they are going to have a better chance to payoff FASTER since the playing time will be there. Not always a bad thing to get traded.

I dont think there value drops much at all, yeah if your specifically prospect your favorite team's guys then yeah it does suck to see them go, but it is not like there will be a significant drop in value on these cards as now astros' fans will be looking to pick them up.

Who else besides Cosart and Singleton was involved in the trade?

So you think that the money that had to be spent on a TOP prospect for the PHILLIES will make you money down the road when they become an ASTRO?

Don't think so... How are those J.A. Happ cards selling for ya'?

Is J.A. Happ a star? Bagwell and Biggio were great sellers. Pence sold. Once they build a team around these guys they acquire they will sell. Look at the Pirates now.

I disagree. For one; I've always sold Pirates, even when they were bad... Two; the amount of money that these guys had to spend on Cosart as a top Phillies prospect is more than they'll ever recover as an Astro future star. And if they break even or by some chance make something on 'em, it'll be years of sitting on hundreds/thousands of dollars of "hope"

So the point of this topic is what exactly?

Ummm Congratulation? Since you seem to be celebrating.

My point is some proud-ass Phillies fan busted out and showed off his Cosart PC the day before he was traded away and I think it's hilarious :D

At least the Philly front-office is showing some faith in Dom Brown. More than I can say for most of their fans.

J.D. Martinez, Jonathan Singleton, and Jarred Cosart will be a team worth watching next year. I would imagine the Astros have no reason to hold them back. Bring um to the show and let's see what they do.

Singleton and Cosart are NOT ready for next year.

yeah they are not even close to being ready. Both in A ball, cossart has issues with location and his maturity level.

Singleton is very very raw, he's also 19.
