Anybody got any other info on this? i just talked to my lcs and it is a lot more expensive than gold standard

i stated in the original black box thread that gold standard MSRP'd for 200 and started selling at like 168-172, so i imagined that black box would MSRP for at least 250, since it supposedly provides more on-card autos and also have logoman, where gold standard did not. my guess is that if it MSRPs around 250, then we'd sell pre-sells for 220?

im curious on how it will do... i hope it doesnt suffer the same fate as timeless treasures and gold standard. because even though i get an erving, bird, magic and kobe auto in my case its still not enough to get some money back. lol

I don't like the look of Elite black at all. They had a 'Panini Peek' of this stuff and it literally looked like the same stuff as GS but in black, lol. From what they said, most of the autos are going to be in that little window-sticker autos like the ones they have on Gold STandard, which looks ugly and cuts off most autos. I think they are trying to in some way go off of old UD's Black, but Imo, it won't even compare.

...looks like more of the same to me
