Also, your last two e-mails fall under feedback extortion. That is a clear violation of eBays terms of use and policy. If this policy is broken, I will be forwarding these e-mails to eBay.

Hahaha I always thought I would say something along those lines but I'd prefer not to have to deal with the negative at the moment.

I just contacted ebay and they did say it was extortion and to call back if he does leave the negative for removal. I am currently baiting him into giving me a dollar amount for positive feedback to hopefully bury this scumbag. Knowing my luck he leaves it and ebay doesn't keep their word and remove it.

I will post the ebay name upon completion of the transaction whether or not a negative is given so you can avoid this tool.

I promise I will post it upon the conclusion of this episode no matter what even if I do avoid the negative which doesn't look too positive at this moment. I just don't want someone else contacting the buyer prior to a resolution saying something stupid and putting the nail in my coffin.

Another thing you might consider doing is sending a letter to his house addressed, Mr. ___, so that the father (or mother) reads the letter. Explain what happened, email him/her a link to the video and you never know, something might happen. This kid is young enough that I'm sure his parents still have some control over him. If you can convince them that he has been stealing from people, you might end up with your money back.

Good idea, is there any way to save a video to a disc or to my hard drive or anything?

I can't get over the fact he is trying to scam me, I don't care as much about the money but it is the principle and the mindset of some people nowadays that pisses me off and it's because they get away with these types of things that they continue to do them.

But maybe you should just video tape the video or something? kind of lost when it came to the saving the video part...Im pretty sure if it was damaged he wouldn't have a HUGE smile on his face, And getting a 1/1 from certified for only $28 is a great deal... He would proablly say it was damaged , Creased ETC during the vid, But the way he acted didn't match up with getting a damaged 1/1..

It was within a few hours of this thread being created that I had the video link, the link to his photobucket, I subscribed to his blog tv account amongst a few other things that resulted in him back peddling and leaving me a positive.

This is just my opinion - but I would go ahead an submit the feedback extortion claim. It sounds like he has done this before.

People like him do not understand that they are actually stealing money out of my pocket and your pocket when they do stuff like this. When people do stuff like this, I take it very personal. When you try and extort, you are stealing money from my family.

That money is normally use to pay bills, buy food, purchase clothes, etc. He might not think that $10 matters - but it adds up over time.

That is funny stuff... we did something like that to a kid in high school, we signed him up for a bunch of free trial offers for guy on guy magazines, and stuff like that... needless to say his parents were pissed at him
