So I picked up a box of A&G for $80 before leaving the country and never got a chance to share the results with you all. I had my daughter pick the box, and I think she did pretty darn good. Here are the insert highlights:

Which state you ask? I’ll never say because it is going up on Ebay unopened.

Overall, I gotta say I am pleased with the box. I got a lot of nice minis for my daughter. She really likes the flora card. I am partial to the Floating Fortress and Uninvited Guests cards. So what do you guys think of the break?

Can't you just feel it to figure out what state it is?

Also...

Don't they all sell for about the same amount?? Why would an open one sell for more?

I second this (did you mean to say "why would an open one sell for less," though? :)) If people are looking to finish their state sets, might not be willing to spend dough for Rhode Island when they were really Jonesing for Alaska. That, and if you open it you'll have the fun of opening yet something else that rocks :).

Yeah, I'd definitely open it up because the set collectors that bid these things up are not going to want to gamble on a state they may already have... IMO

Nice box, flora & state relic...even though all numbered the same some are really hard to hit, just open it.

Btw: has anyone claimed the bounty/finished the state set??? - (dont know if bounty still active so I asked both)

Valid questions. Yes, I can figure out the state. It is one that I have seen sell quite high and also just so so (must had ended at bad times). All pieces aren't created equal, and some definitely go for more than others. You would be surprised to see what some unopened ones have sold for, even without saying what is in the package. Some folks like to gamble and the thrill of not knowing exactly what they are going to get which goes along with it. ;)

Don't know if the bounty was claimed, doubt it is still active. It was a promo for the National.
