2011 Topps Chrome case break!

Here we go. Eli and I busted a case of this stuff as we do every year to put the base set, and base auto set together. Great product this year in our opinions with nice color and a few exceptions:

1. Too many light surface scratches on the cards.
2. The autos in our case were fairly redundant.
3. Topps, if your listening, you can do away with any vintage reprints in any chrome product as far as we're concerned. They are obviously just worthless fillers.

Having said that, we loved the additions of atomic refractors, black refractors, and septia refractors. If your listening again Topps, any time you add a serial numbered parallell, we eat it up. Not that we need to get crazy and add every color of the rainbow to make every card a parallell and double the cost of the product.

Anywho, we decided to scan every card that wasn't a base card and show alot of the members here what you can expect besides base in an average case. We will be willing to trade all of our parallell autographs just to complete the base auto set. We will even trade lots of non auto parallells just to get a base auto that we need.

Awesome to get 27 autos out of a case. Don't quite unerstand why we got a base Espinosa auto and a redemption for a base Espinosa auto, but we're not complaining. Maybe Topps decided to seed some extra autos at the last second without having them signed? Anyway, we were very happy with the case even though we didn't get anything spectacular, nice design and great color.

The Jeter/Cano black refractor is a Heritage card, not the vintage cards I was refering to. The vintage cards I am talking about are the 1996 Chrome reprints. We don't have a problem with the Heritage inserts, they are serial numbered, so we love em!

I like the Chrome heritage Pujols, Chrome heritage ref Halladay perfect form, noesi atomic rc, and (if you have doubles) a Hosmer base RC.

You pick any combination of those 4 and the Barney is yours!
