I am amazed that they were not arrested as well.

FTA - Authorities swooped in on a house owned by Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Jerome Simpson after a package containing 2.5 pounds of California marijuana was allegedly delivered to the home. Investigators found 6 more pounds of pot inside the home...

So they were in a home that had 8.5 lbs of pot in it and no one was arrested? Not even Willy Nelson needs that much for "personal use". Funny cause his rookie year, everyone said they got "simpsoned", guess Simson got Simsoned...

Jerome is a cool dude, who really gives if he smokes pot? I can tell you that alot more players do than are caught for sure.

I don't mind anyone smoking pot, but don't you think 8.5 lbs is a little excessive? Seems like he was planning on dealing to the whole league.

If my brother can get arrested on the spot for driving with 6 oz of pot and bail set at $30k...why the hell were they not arrested with almost 9lbs and other measuring and packaging devices present...

Smoking pot and having 8.5 pounds is a lot different. You can't smoke that much in a year. He was running a drug house

In all fairness, he placed that Pot order before the lockout ended. It just took awhile to get to him. You gotta earn a living if you aint gettin paid by the league! :eek:
