View Full Version : Is the patch on this Vick real or fake???

Naturally, because of how awesome the patch is I gotta question if its real or fake. I'm interested in buying the card but need your guys opinions.

I would have voted real because of the numbering, but the wrinkles and bubbles in the jersey have me concerned. I would check for other players cards and see what kind of patch they have in them.

I would say it is real. Why would whoever faked it not put a bigger patch of the logo on it?

Product seems way too new for this to be happening already, I would check seller history and if there is not any others, its prob real.

id go real...yeah do the wrinkles/bubbles concern me, but keep in mind topps isnt the best at everything.....the numbering being out of 5 makes me think its real, and if the guy tried faking it he could have made it alot better...good luck with the auction!

No, I haven't. Cause I don't bid til the end. So you're never worried about fake patches when you're gunna try and buy a high dollar card? Please. Move along.

I'm going to say it's real and the wrinkles don't concern me one bit. I have seen other patches look like this. It's a super sweet patch.

is it real or fake? my guess is if you win it, its fake!!! if you get outbid, it's the sickest legit patch in the set!!!

I would actually maybe say fake or a very poor job by Topps. Also saw a demarco murray and daniel thomas that were one colors for the most part. For what it can go for, tearing up an eagles jersey would def be worth it to some people. It looks horrible. I actually bid 120 before seeing this and was glad I got outbid. They didn't really go all out on all the patches:

I am going real. They put some nasty patches on some of these cards in previous years.
