You know certified by GAI probably mean fake right? I would get that thing looked at by PSA and then you would most definitely have a better chance at selling it for closer to your asking price.

I will give you like $20 lol. he has a great point. if you get it certified by PSA you should get close to your asking price. if not you will probably only get like 20

20 bucks u guys have to be joking. Do your research, yes GAI hit a downfall but at one point was the most reputable company out there and was started by former PSA employees. To say its fake based off bias makes 0 sense.

Sorry sir but I think you need to do your research. GAI was NOT or EVER "the most reputable" company out there and it was not started by PSA employees. That would be JSA that was started by former PSA employees.
I am not saying it is fake for sure just that there is a better chance that it is than not.
Good Luck with the sale :)!

According to ebay and sportscardcollector.com states: "Global Authentication, Inc. (GAI): GAI#@was started by two former PSA employees and carries a lot of that prestige with it. In addition to sports cards, they also grade movie memorabilia."

-GAI is generally regarded as one of the least reliable and most dishonest authentication companies up to their closing in 2009.
I'd be more inclined to give the new Global Authority LLC the benefit of the doubt in their attempt to rise from the ashes if they didn't recognize legacy authentications, linking them to the horror that was GAI. Having Mike Baker as a holdover (as he arranged the buyout and move) doesn't help with the idea of a new start, either.
The discussion here is not a personal attack on you, OP, but a simple suggestion. Get that thing authenticated by a more reputable company, or else expect to get much less profit out of your item.
Happy hunting.

Sorry if I may have sounded as though I was getting defensive but I felt that everyone assumed it was fake because it was gai certified. In all honesty psa, jsa and gai have all made errors in the past and it is merely the opinion of each one of them. Anyways thanks again everyone and have a great day. Ill probably just frame this and keep it for keepsake anyways because it is a nice piece

Is there a little paper certificate that comes with it, and does it say "Mike Baker" on it?

Looks identical to the thousands of Williams and DiMaggio auto-pen fakes that GAI passed a while back. Never touch anything with a GAI coa with it.
