Some nice cards, but hard to take some of those jerseys at 70-80 bucks a hit..... Looks like half case Auto/half jerseys.

Too risky for me this late in the season. Nice cards, but you've pretty much have to buy multiple boxes to get something really nice. Of course, you can be super lucky with one box, but I don't want to risk it at this point in the season.

Nick, my buddy said UD was doing the Contenders thing and going to release the print run of the auto's after. Would be nice to see them on the card, but may work better for re-sale the other way

Well at least you got someone who is actually a legend off that list. Moose, Rathman and Walker were all very good players but I wouldn't exactly call them legends. I know the 97 set has some questionable players included as well but come on UD.....The Boz was more fairy tale then legend. After missing Earl Campbell in the original 97 set how did they skip him again ? :mad:

Stuff looks okay, but almost a certain loser if you're ripping a case looking for gold. At $80 per hit, you need to have more than 1 color jersey combos, regardless of who the players are. It'd be nice to see if the rookie patch variations are the same sized window - those would be some gems!!! But a rookie auto print run /350 for most + not guaranteed superstar case hit + a lot of 1 color jersey cards = not what I'd expect out of a retooled high end product at $80 a pack.

So conceivably the "case hit" might not even pay for one box with this product. I also haven't seen much color in the RC autos. The Ryan was a 2 color patch on the promo sheet yet all the RCs I've seen so far are one color jerseys. Gotta love UD. Nice stuff for the PC but 99 out of 100 cases probably won't get you back to even money if you're a rip and flip guy. At least FSU got his a little early so he may strike some gold early on with BINs.
