Hi everyone,

I'm a new member here, despite my name might not be new. I'm purely a consumer of this hobby, mostly collecting Kobes or 90s inserts.

Here are a few samples of my PC:

Hope I can share some my pickup, and most of time admire other members' awesome maildays here. I also hope to join in some discussion and debate, and provide some angles/approaches to allow a balanced and less biased discussions.

I think people are allowed to question some sales, but please be considerate before jumping on conclusion prematurely. In most situations, as outsiders of transactions, we cannot say anything definite. As a seller's or collector's reputation is often at stake here, some casual readers might treat rumors or speculations as facts and damage can be done irreversibly and unfairly. Please put yourself into other's shoes before accusing.

If you have evidence supporting speculation, please bring it into light, we will examine it critically and see if alternative and more legit reason can be provided. I'm no seller, and I don't support any group in particular, and I only provide a collector's voice from my own perspective.

If you have any hobby related question or any comments about my PC, feel free to post. I'll try my best to answer and respond.

@coolz: Good Q, haha. One is enough, as you can see from label, it's kind of special numbered as well. I'd better gradually enjoy the hobby in a sustainable manner.

Not to take away anything from the card, but I think you got lucky on the PMG Green grades (especially corners and edges)

@backinthemixer: Thanks, blessed to have some better Kobe's cards from 90s.

@coolz: :) I think I got the undergraded on those subs instead. I saw some 8.5 which are much less deserving, but of course I'm biased here, LOL. Maybe the new scanner doesn't do its justice, it looks like it has missing corners, but actually it's all sharp but a bit white. Wish a BGS 9 copy exists somewhere, but Kobe greens seem to be in rough shape. Grading is just for protection, as I won't sell it anyway.

Here is an older picture using better scanner of my friend. It doesn't look that bad, esp with darker background contrast, right? LOL. Or maybe beauty is in the eyes of owner. :P

most overrated cards ever made! anybody who bites on this price or even HALF that is a fool in my opinion! :)!

Amazing Collection! Curious if you picked these up after the 90's Parallel explosion or before? The Kobe also looks fine to me - Any white on the corners would pop up because of the design of the card - But I'm sure it got the right grade & could even be higher like you said

@BenMoss84: I agree with you that asking price is way too high. It makes the card come on top after ebay search and avoid BIN steal. The asking price has nothing to do with the fair value for the card. One half you gave there is too generous for current market, even for Jordan green.

But for the overrated part, since I own one of these, I will tend to think it's one of best Kobe's cards, and certainly best 90s non-1/1 card. Everyone will have different takes on what is the best of course.

@MavsRChamps: Thanks. I picked it up within the explosion. Regarding the grade, thanks for your input, hope you're not being sarcastic. LOL. Wish Kobe greens were in as good condition as Jordan greens. :P

I wasn't being sarcastic - I think people don't realize that a card could be damaged a little with a notable flaw such as the edges on this card and it could still receive an 8 ... Most of the time a card needs to be really banged up to get a lower grade.

@MavsRChamps: Haha, I see. Yup, two of my best cards are graded 8. But I'm not too bothered. 7.5 is my bottomline for top cards.

@BenMoss84: No, haha. I came across two BGS 10 before. I missed out the first one, as I bought one other card which seemed to me harder to get at that time. The second one has 9.5 centering, so I passed. Then I get caught up in rare 90s inserts, and haven't collected any cards from rookie year since then. Hope to add one at some point, but not too urgent. :)
