i got a friend who keeps insisting jeter was pulled late in the game for a pinch runner then returns to play in the 9th inning. any truth to this or anyone else see this

I have it taped, but I will have to check when I get home from work. I seem to remember him being pulled for a pinch runner, but can't remember if he played in the top of the 9th.

No. I think in the 7th inning when there was a pitching change he went into the dugout and came back out.
