Granted most single card shipment are under 2 ounces, I use this one when shipping.

I bought one on Ebay from JustPoundsandOunces. Paid about $12 - $15 with shipping two years ago. Goes up to 35 pounds by a .10 ounce increments. I mail 150 packages a month with it and have never had a problem.

Careful getting scales shipped. If they get banged around they can be inaccurate. If they are shipped from China, you might hope they get banged around to help accuracy.

My suggestion: go to the office depot or office max (etc) and just buy a digital postal scale. I bought mine over 10 years ago and it works perfectly. It's ok to buy "made in china" here - I only meant the eBay auctions.

I use the Salter Brecknell Model 311. I think I paid less than $30 for it, but I'm sure you can find one for a lot less. Digital is the best to buy. I would suggest not buying it online, since you can't guarantee it's not going to get banged around and throw it off. I'm a calibration technician in the Navy, so I calibrate all kinds of scales and some can be adjusted if they are off, but some cannot.

I bought one from Meijer some 10 years ago. I'm still on the original battery. I think I paid 15 bucks. I bought it from the housewares department. Its digial (reads in .1 oz increments) and I've never had a problem. Only good up to 11 lbs, but heck if they get that big, I'm not to worried about it as I'm then taking them to work or I'll use the bathroom scale.

Mine is a Taylor Model 3801 0505 V1356

But would expect any basic scale to work.

What ever scale you get - make sure to take the first few and compare them to the post offices weights when you start. Just to make sure your scale is ok.

I bought the actual Post Office scale I know it is more expensive than most small digital scales ($40) but the majority of small digital or postage scales only measure up to 3 pounds and the post office one goes up to 10 pounds. Plus if the PO every bitches that the weight is not correct I can tell them I am using their freaking scale! Lol
