I think experienced sellers are confusing listings on 2011 Topps Chrome. I found this one of Phil Hughes that looked a little off on ebay item: 390346271374. The scan looks exactly like a Red Refractor #'D /25. The listing is as an orange refractor from the retail parallel set. I hit the BiN on this one because I seriously think its a Red Chrome Refractor /25. It looks exactly like a Red Chrome Refractor in the photo. We'll see if that is the case when I get it in the mail. If it is serial numbered I made out like a bandit. If it isn't a Red Refractor than I have another nice Hughes card to give a friend.

I'm wondering if he sorted the Red Refractor into the Orange pile. Could have been, but the price is too good to be true. We'll see how it turns out. Most all the Orange refractors are very orange. This glows Red!

Weird. I did a search for 2011 Topps Chrome Orange Refractor and some of them looked very orange and some of them look Red. That is why I thought I'd ask here. I was wondering if the experienced sellers were confusing the Orange Refractors as Red Refractors. I'll give it a look tomorrow with fresh eyes.

It all depends on the scanner and the scanner settings someone has it set on.

The oranges look orange and the reds look red. No one can mess that up.

nobody mistakes a red refractor when u pull one u know unless your a complete dummy:)or maybe they think the same about buyers on ebay who over pay for orange refractors hoping they get lucky and get a red in the mail:) like you said though at least you got a nice card for a friend and thats a nice thing

They look red on my scanner so I make sure to say orange in the title and description. Like you say, no big deal if it is orange.
