Negative feedback warranted? Atrain2004

Purchased a card on the 3rd of October from atrain2004. Was supposed to go out the next day. He had a family member pass later in the week, but by then the card was supposed to go out. I sent messages looking for dc #, kept stalling with no dc # in hand. Waited 13 days after no dc # and opened a dispute. Anyways before the dispute was open he was on still posting and making threads, selling stuff, etc. When the dispute was open, he shipped the card the next day, posted a message on paypal saying it was shipped and asked me to close the dispute. Communication didnt come until i opened the dispute. What feedback does this warrant? Does this warrant a negative?

In my opinion, no negative. You have the card, and I'm guessing its in good shape. I'd give neutral and explain on comment.

i would say. since he was active trying to solicit new deals, he should have taken the steps to complete the ones he had already. maybe a neutral would be better in my opinion.

I have done 32 deals on here since October 1st and have only been left feedback 6 or 7 times. It was probably just never left by both parties,thats all.

Contact, you were in contact until the 12th. I have all the messages saved. That was the last pm i got from you. The only contact you gave me was when you post on paypal two days after i opened the case. Also, in those messages you went me, you even try to sell me more cards. You also told me in regards to the dc # (on the 10th of august) "i do in colorado ill be getting back tomorrow evening possibly tuesday morning im flying standby." 14 days to ship an item, with no communication and lying is a lot of time. Im not saying the next day is necessary and i realized you had family issues. But atleast tell me what is going on, dont keep pulling me along saying you have a dc # when in fact, you haven't even shipped the card! Kept communication the best you could? You were on multiple times last week posting new threads, buying and selling and making new deals when my stuff hadn't been shipped? If you have the time to be on here, making new threads and dealing, then you certainly have time to print a label and put 3 cards in the mailbox! A simple message stating the cards had not gone out and would soon would have been sufficient. However, you said they had gone out, which was a lie, stopped communicating yet still dealt on here.

I apologized stayed in contact and made it right. I can't control life.. right now its back to normal people getting stuff in 3 days on usual like normal.

Ok, I didn't want to have to, but I'm going to add to this. I had the same issue with atrain2004. We made a deal, I told him I'd pay him the moment I got home (I was at work and then at dinner with my gf). He sent me PMs almost every 30 mins. asking me to pay. I then pay the INSTANT I got home (to the behest of my gf). A week then goes by with no reply to my PMs and no DC #, which was promised. I see that he is continuing to make new threads and posts selling items, so I finally decide to reply to one of his posts asking for my DC #. This was the only time that he then responded. A few days go by and STILL no DC #. He then doesn't respond to my PMs, again. I then post AGAIN in one of his ongoing FS threads, and he finally gets me the DC #.

All and all, it took about 2 weeks to get my package, and I feel that it is very unacceptable to continue to sell items when you haven't completed the deals that you've made. Sorry for the long read, but I think the truth really needs to come out. I'm sorry for your personal problems, but to continue to be an active seller, and to stop responding to PMs, is not an acceptable practice.

ive shipped 6-7 of these lately all have come up under a pound. Even Amazon.com website states these are 12oz-1pd a mini helmet. Not a single person has not received the items from me that they have purchased or bought. Yes I was slow on some memorabilia pieces but id rather those get to you in one piece. He did this same thing to me! I was at work and then out at dinner, and my phone kept buzzing with new emails from him every 20-30 minutes. I responded to him letting him know exactly when I was going to pay, yet he still kept sending messages. The only difference was that even after I paid the moment I got home, it took him 2 weeks to ship my item. He also NEVER told me of any hardships, before or after paying.

I also think that it is unbelievably unacceptable to post personal information on this public forum. Once again, I am truly sorry for your loss, but your actions have been unmistakably wrong throughout all of these situations.
