SPA box, need help!!!!

I went to the LCS this morning and the owner was putting price tags on the packs of a fresh SPA box, he had all but 3 packs priced and I asked him how much for the whole box. We made a deal and I ripped all 24 pack to find NO AUTOS:mad::eek::mad: He insisted that is was a sealed box and did show me the clear wrapping from the box. I have no clue on what to do about this because it was not sealed when I bought it, plus 21 wrappers have price stickers on them. Can anyone help me that has dealt with UD? I have the box and all its contents to send to UD.

call UD talk to Shane and tell him what happened
he'll give you a case#
send the UPC and hologram with a letter saying what happened to UD
wait a few weeks to receive replacement autos.

Or your LCS owner is a smart cat and knew where the 3 autos were and took those packs for himself.

If that be the case, complaining to UD will get you no where and you should report the card shop owner for unethical sales.

If I'm reading your post correctly, it seems like the owner is a shade ball.

The lcs puts price tags on each pack? Really? I'd find that kind of fishy...don't most places keep packs out of reach anyways?

yea, open boxes with individual packs for sale are usually on a shelf behind the counter with one price tag on the outside of the box so you know what that products costs.

that would make me worry. usually if i'm in a shop and i'm feeling like pack breaking, i'd ask for a new box to be opened.

Yeah, Im pretty sure I got screwed. He probably fished the 3 hits out and has another box that he uses to fill box's with that he picked:mad: Needless to say, that will be the last dollar I spend in his shop. I am not going to pursue UD because I am pretty sure it is not there fault. The guy seems shady to begin with, and I never really did trust him. O well live and learn:(

Yeah looks like your LCS owner is shady most owners will have a price tag made for packs but they usually wait to open them until someone actually asks because most people like to pick packs from a fresh box that they know will contain the contents and most people buy boxes. Most places will not go out of their way to make a price tag for each pack. Seems shady.

I've seen shops both ways. Usually the higher end stuff close to the register or behind the counter, and cheaper stuff out on shelves or further away. The expensive shop near me opens a fresh box and stickers everything. That way they don't have to answer questions and waste their time. To each their own. Contact UD regardless and as long as you have a box worth of wrappers they will make it right. Get in line though and be patient, this particular product has had a lot of hiccups and 1 box will be addressed, but probably AFTER guys w/ multiple box/ case complaints. Better luck next time.

You don't need the wrappers just the UPC and Hologram from the box. You just need to call UD and get case #. Topps for some reason wants the wrappers :confused:
