I see Chris still have UD Series 1 releasing next week (9th) but I"ve seen a few threads on other boards that say some wholesalers/distributors saying it's delayed for a week or 2 ...

Anyone know for sure if this comes out next week ??

New release date is 11/14

standard procedure from UD; they can't hit a scheduled release date either; in short UD is pathetic......but hey without any competition they can get away with it.........thanks NHLPA...........

I am doing a case with my girlfriend. Glad to see the delay, because having it come out right after Artifacts, just to have to wait a month for the next product, would have been maddening.

Hate the fact that UD has the lone liscense. How great would 08-09 Donruss Ice Gear Hockey be !?!?!?!?
I'm doing half a case of UD I - Kane YG would be nice but I'm not holding my breath with only half a case to rip.

The exclusive might be over when the new NHLPA President and licensing director get put in place. May only be one more year of this.

Personally I'd like to see Topps Chrome and maybe they'd bring back Topps Pristine, that was an awesome product.

are we not just in year 3 of the 5 yr exclusive? So we got this season and two more yrs. UD screws us through 2009-10. I thought the same thing when I saw a new director was coming in, but I cant image it is high on his list of things to do. Face it, the secrecy around the entire process means there was some kinda back room deal. If half the collectors who told me they were going to write a letter to the NHLPA complaining about UD's horrible treatment of them then something would be on the horizon. Needless to say I am not holding my breath that this fiasco will resolve itself in any due time.:mad::(
