Box and a half of 2011 Bowman Chrome =

Welp. The local card shop didn't have too much in the way of football so we ended up spending the lions share or our cash on bowman chrome baseball... he had two sealed boxes. Bought one outright and took the firsf half of the next box.


We hit two regular auto's

1. Keyvius sampson
and

2. Brandon laird

So nothing to write home about there.

We also hit a harper diecut, a gold /50 rookie card of dominic brown and probally our best hit was.

The scan is from ebay and the last one went at auction for 49 which is cool. My question to you baseball buffs is hold em or fold em? Sure fifty bucks is nice but we all know baseball prospect... could this one blow up to be worth more?

Any opinions welcomed.

I just pulled the same one yesterday, #13/25. Not sure what to do with mine either. 50 seems too cheap

sure it's an insert card but why are the Harpers going for almost $200? Matt Moore already made it to the big leagues, so he should be comparable to even the great Bryce Harper

But moore isn't projected to be the next Nolan Ryan, but Harper is projected to be the next big name like Pujols, Jeter, Griffey, etc.

keyword PROJECTED....we know how short those can come and how quickly a career can derail...take the $50 and spend it on a moore base auto and pocket $15...that has a better chance to move with a good performance than the insert would.

Yea... think I will pick up a auto or two of his and put them away for awhile. I apreciate the opinions... thought maybe the gold rook would be a pretty nice one too... guess we will see.
