Here are my main hits (if you can call them hits).

Anyone know if any of these guys are more than $10 (if I'm lucky) cards?

The Purple Alamo card is numbered to 10
The Gold Autos to 50
The Orange 25
The Jacob Turner Blue is 499

a gold auto, a purple auto, a red yankee, and you're calling that a nightmare?

You crushed the odds on autos and you're complaining? I responded to your other post in the baseball section. Sorry if I sound rude but it bothers me when someone opens a decent case of cards and then says their only gonna re-sell for $250 because of how bad it is. Why would anyone spend $650 and not even know the general value of a Purple and Gold autograph which are 1:5 cases and 1:20 cases respectively.

P.S. Zach Collins is THE top guy in the USA set, so expect another $50-$100 for your non-auto'd refractor of him.

The Collins is not an auto too

Not that bad imo, some good names like Springer, Wong, and both Bradley, and lots of color, I won't be dissapointed for this case.

BTW, I don't mind taking Keenyn Walker gold auto off your hand for $10.

Yes, but I'll answer your question respectfully since you are providing me with good information.

I buy 1 case (next year it will be 2) of Heritage, all Topps regular, Bowman Chrome and Bowman Draft. I no longer know the market the way I used to. In my youth, I knew everything but the guy's jock size. As I've gotten older, things like my job and family get in the way of me really getting down and dirty so to speak.

I do not know the Chrome and Draft product well, but since I have $650 to spend because of my job and family, I buy it and usually ask for advice on this message board. I used to get the advice from the Topps MB before it died.

Anyway, when I break a case and get no names that I have heard hyped for months, I assume it's a loser.

If it turns out that the 2 USA autos are worth decent money and I'll get a decent amount of my initial investment back, then I'm wrong, it is not a nightmare.

But to say I shouldn't buy the case because I don't know all the specifics is just shortsighted.

But thanks for the feedback as I do appreciate all positve and negative if it's helpful. I do know how hard purple refractor USA autos are, but some 1/1s in general go for $20-$50, who knows who Tyler Alamo is? I don't. But I'm hoping somebody on here does.

I'd take that case. Even your base autos are some of the better ones:

Archie Bradley- $25ish
Wong- $20ish
Springer- $15ish
Harrison, Story, Spangenberg, Jed Bradley- $10ish each

How'd you do on base/chromes of the big names? Starling, Bundy, Bauer, etc.

I hope the case I open is as much as nightmare as yours.

Dude, you hit a 1/10 auto!

My bad, thought the Collins was an auto.

It's been a rough night in my household. My 8 year old dog has cancer and only a few months to live. Found out last night the $4500 surgery didn't work so I'm off my game a bit.

If you had posted the break and simply asked for help assessing the value, your thread would have been welcomed with open arms. When you make two separate threads with "Oye" and "Nightmare" in the titles and people see a great case instead, they are going to respond like I and others have.

It could have a been a lot worse...A LOTTTTTT worse!

If my case had a gold ref auto, purple ref auto and some nice autos in general...I'd love it!

You guys are making me feel much better. I really thought it was a complete dud. I hope you are right about the autos.

Here are my blue refractors #d to199

Francisco Lindor - Indians
Ryan Adams - Orioles
Cory Spangenberg - Padres
Adam Ehrlic - Cardinals
Joe Tuschak - Mets
Brandon Kintzler - Brewers
Nathan Eovaldi - Dodgers

Pretty sure they all suck.

And 8 regular Bichette/Bundy/Starling and 2 chrome of each.

Dude, I'm not offended. You guys are making me feel so much better.

I really thought I had complete and total loser of a case considering I had no big names in it.

Thanks for making my day.

I don't think it was THAT bad.

Wong, Bradley, Springer autos are all high-potential cards of top picks.

Purple USA Auto is huge

Gold USA is prob $75? based off what I've heard about him

Gold Auto of Walker is nice

Plus an Orange and Gold RCs

You didnt do that bad

Now you tell us you also hit a Lindor Blue!

That should settle at $10-15 i think

Well, if I knew how to change the name of the thread, I would.

I am pleasantly surprised. Thanks for all the feedback.

Complaining about something when you do not know all the specifics is just shortsighted.

You had a GREAT above average case for not hitting a Starling.

The USA GOLD will get you a nice coin, he is the second best guy to get.

The purple will sell for a nice coin, and then you have all your prospects and what not.

When a player goes into the MLB, their first chrome cards jump to about $15-30 EACH. Hold onto all of those.

And you can sell the bowman chrome/paper from the average case for between $200-300.

I think some of you guys are getting a bit overly upset. I was wrong and I am 100% ecstatic for being wrong. But seriously, you need to calm down a bit. And this isn't geared to you necessarily, but do I really need to be berated because I didn't realize my case was better than it was?

I didn't kidnap anyone...

I think people were annoyed because you were saying your case was a nightmare and it was better than the majority of peoples cases.

Again, I thought it was. I then thanked everyone for the feedback and apologized for being wrong.

Really, what else can I do?

I'm not saying you need to do anything else, I was explaining why people were complaining lol

It's like a millionaire complaining of money troubles, your case was that good lol

In other words, you are comparing me to Latrell Sprewell? (Anyone remember him saying he couldn't feed his family on $11million or something like that?)

He declined the contract and said he needed to feed his family, then no one offered him another contract and he filed for bankruptcy. You better hope you're not like him lol

My family can eat at Golden Corral for $10 each and be happy. (At least I can, my wife hates it...) so we're not in jeopardy of bankruptcy anytime soon...

Terrrrible case. So terrible that you needed 2 seperate threads to tell us how terrible it was.

Not that I should bother, but the reason for the 2 threads is I was told not to post box breaks in the regular forum and I don't frequent the box breaks forum so I wasn't sure if it would be seen there.

But thanks for the input, as always, invaluable.
