View Full Version : Do people really pay more for numbered cards that equal the players uniform number?
I just got a LeSean McCoy Treasures 2009 RAP 29/99 which is his uniform number. I'm curious, do people pay more for these than other cards, and if so how muchmore (in general)? 10%, 20%?

On ebay, they're considered 1/1s. However, from my findings, 1/99 and 99/99 sell better.
Don't take my word for it, but I'll say 10%.

I'd say 20%-30%. Look at any jersey #'d card of any high profile player, the card's end up selling for way more than any other print #.

i guess McCoy was a redemption and hasn't been redeemed yet because Panini has sent me 4 of the /99 RAP's as replacements. I'm keeping the eagle eye one for my PC

It depends on whether the people collecting the player care about that. I know I do and I'm willing to pay a premium for the jersey numbered version.

and if he switches jersey numbers? what is the pic showed him wearing 29 and the card was 25/99? or as long as the jersey shown on the card matches the card number you pay a premium?
