Quick questions about 2011 Bowman Baseball

-Is the 1 auto per a 24-pack of Bowman baseball a shitty retail auto or similar to the hobby auto?
-Also, is $40 (including shipping) good for a 24 pack of 2011 bowman baseball retail. That's $1.67 a pack.

pretty sure the 24- pack box is retail so the retail autos only. Since you can get a pineda and harper auto out of retail I think $40 is a good deal for sure

I looked up a dude's break on here (he opened like 16 blasters, 8 retail, etc.), and he did pretty good in the first half and bad in the second. So all the Harper autos from 2011 bowman baseball are from retail and none are from hobby or?

Update is less risk, but lower reward. Bowman has potential upside, but with one box you never know who you will hit. Also the retail autos are not on card (on sticker) except the Harper which is a redemption in retail, but comes to you on card. In Bowman hobby all the autos are on card and the Harper is live, not a redemption. There are other redemptions in retail i.e. Machado, but I've yet to see if they are on card or sticker. I'm waiting on one myself as a matter of fact.

One other thing to consider is with Update you can continue to gamble with your codes if you don't sell them. You could hit something big i.e. 1/1 diamond embedded card, exclusive die cuts, vintage packs etc. Update will extend your time at the poker table, but it's all up to the cardboard gods at the end of the day. Thanks webb! I don't have an ebay yet so the more risk in bowman is still probably best. I've entered like 13 codes so far and I've gotten nothing (low amount) so I'm a little sour on them. And then the sourness was added on to by the $10 gift card that required like $9.60 shipping to buy anything.

Nice find on the Machado. Well, I guess I should be getting one soon (better check, cuz you never know with Topps). Someone on the forums mentioned that he signed so looks like they are popping up now. He really shouldn't have wore a batting helmet in that mug shot; it looks ridiculous.

$40 for a guarenteed auto is a great deal

just keep in mind the retail bowman had a different checklist than the hobby, but a majority of them are Sticker Autos

You can still pull a Harper, Pineda, and Machado...so I say go for it..sounds like a fun rip for $40.

Just curious where did you find these b/c I would like to pick one up aswell

From what I remember all the retail autos were base-only- no color parallels. They are sticker autos.

The Harper auto in retail is a redemption but is for the exact same card as you could get in Hobby boxes (on card sig) I hit one in a box of rack packs.
