Well, I purchased the 1/2 Case of 03 UD Golf for the NCAA Promo, and I am saving some boxes for later. Here is the hits for now. I opened 5 yesterday and 1 today, so far I got both major hits (auto dual shirt)

Here are my hits, there are no Numbered Cards -.-

I was pretty happy, anyone know how much for the Nicklaus about? Im going to keep until I finish my case which will be later this week or next week, but I might get another.

I've pulled a GU out of every box, 1 auto thus far, and two Tiger redemptions for the "playmaker" figurine! that was 5 boxes. These things take forever to go through and sort!

Congrats on the Tigers and the auto!
There is one GU guarenteed per box, and the autos are rare, 1:200 packs I think.

Who was your auto of?

Also, these things are a hassle to sort, soo many diff sub set things lol.

But thats what I wanted, I cant wait to open, so I open it all and sort during the tourny unless I get another 1/2 case of it :)

naw its cool. my own confusion. im tempted to get a couple lots of this product. perfect timing too with golf season and tiger back on the greens

Ya, its a great deal IMO, but almost all of the NCAA Promo lots are.

If you can pull a Tiger Dual Shirt Auto, then you can buy 3 or 4 cases of this.

And an Arnold Palmer or Jack Nicklaus isnt bad either...:)

Definitely some nice pulls on your side. My auto dual shirt was Pat Perez (some dude?). A Fred Couples was about the only other worthwhile name in the GU section. 3 boxes to go. Might have to pick up another lot!

hey chicago whats the sorting looking like? i ended up getting just one 10 box lot. how many base sets/insert sets are you looking at?

i've got two complete sets with two complete major champion sets. I'm 1 card away from a third set, and 4 cards away from a 3rd major champion set. I've got oodles of base singles. It's tough getting the sets unless you hit the boxes just right because cards 33-69 are inserted 1 per pack. I'm just not getting the right ones!

with as many people busting this lot, trading will not be an issue im sure. i plan on making as many sets as possible and sell them throughout the golf season.

ok, 10 boxes done. Results:

4 cards short of 4 complete sets. 25 short of a 5th set.
2 EXPIRED Tiger Woods "playmaker" figurine redemptions
11 Golf Shirt cards
1 Auto Golf Shirt card

It has been a while since I busted any golf and decided at $15 per box I would go with 2 Lots. They will be here Wednesday and I am really excited about busting these. I know the chances are slim but the anticipation is fun. Does anyone know how many Tiger event worn cards are in this set? I know the autos are going to be tough but with one shirt per I was wondering on the chance of a Tiger.
Also, when did the Tiger Figure redemptions expire? Any chance UD might throw us a bone if we send in the expired redemptions?

According to the redemption, it expired 4/21/04. The kicker with these too, i'm pretty sure you could win autographed items. I may try to contact Upper Deck and see what they say, but probably just a laugh in my face and say I should have known going into buying the product that they were expired!

3.5 boxes done...the next 3 mojos: Sergio Garcia Fairway Fabrics and Chris Riley Fairway Futures, Byron Nelson Collared Classics!

I think I'm going to stop breaking the rest of the packs each time I hit the mojo of the box. Then give those packs away as bonuses when I sell stuff on ebay. Is it possible to get 2 hits in these retail boxes?
