that is retail (retail comes in 20 box cases) and NO it is NOT a good deal. I've been unloading single boxes slowly on eBay for $11 DLVD ea...$220 a case, blowout used to have these for $100 a case during their special pricing deals.

I got one and I'm enjoying it - In 4 boxes, I've pulled 3 Poseys, tons of $4-6 rookies, 4 jerseys and 4 serial #ed cards.

yea its retail.... i just thought it'd be fun to sit there and bust, and for $260 for 20 boxes.. What are the autograph odds?? i noticed in beckett that alot of them aren't priced... Dooes that mean they didnt get released or are they very rare?

There is one GU guaranteed per box, I don't see autograph odds on the box...I believe they are exceptionally rare. Wait for BO to have a sale, twice this year I've seen them drop a case of this crap to $100 (20 box case).

The retail is not a good deal; the hobby that is being dumped by many dealers is a much better buy.

retails are 24 packs ... blasters are like 8, so prolly not $100 for a case of retail

He is talking about the 24ct boxes not the 8 pack boxes the others are talking about. Either way, its a pointless break and I wouldnt touch it.

cruiserdaddy7, I was mainly talking to the folks who were saying they were for $100 a case. I think they got the 24 pack boxes mixed up with the 8 pack blasters.

Hi-

I know you meant the 24, it was Kyle and Fitch who I believe thought the OP was talking blasters for $100... Have you seen any autos from your case yet?

Ah, understood. Nope, no autographs yet. I don't expect there to be any either. So far it has delivered what I was expecting though, lots of good rookies, several inserts and a lot of packs for little coin. Basically, it comes out to about 50 cents a pack for 18 cards - that was what packs went for when I was growing up, and they didn't have any inserts, jersey, etc. possibilities.

To the op: cruiserdaddy7 is right - it is not triple threads, so don't expect anything ridiculous. Stranger things have happened, but what looks like will happen if I open it all, is probably 10-15 Posey rc's and 20 jersey cards, with a lot of commons/stars/rookies/inserts/possible variations in between. If only we could get book value on the Poseys, you could sell 10 and basically get your money back :) Too bad that can't happen.

Don't a LOT of these cards also have strange variations that could be worth more $? I seem to remember someone on here trying to compile a list of all the minor variations found throughout the set.

Double-Take

2010 Upper Deck #347 Jorge Posada Double-Take
25 base cards have scarce "Double-Take" variations. Double-Take's feature between two and four subtle tweaks to the image shown on the commonly seeded version of the card. Beginning in February, 2010 each week Upper Deck was to have revealed the existence of a new Double-Take card. On March 5, 2010, two days after settling their lawsuit with MLB Properties, Upper Deck released a checklist of all 25 variants; however since then, they've ceased to announce what the tweaks on each card are.
The 25 card set is fractured into four levels: Common, Rare, Super Rare, and Ultra Rare. Each card's level is designated in the checklist.
The first five collectors who completed a full set of 25 Double-Take's, were to receive a collection of autographed Upper Deck Authenticated memorabilia. But with the lawsuit settlement it is unknown if this promotion is still valid.
Note: The state odds of finding a Double-Take variation card are 1:96 hobby packs and 1:960 retail packs.

Retail-Exclusive SPs
These four cards were randomly inserted into retail looseys, and were not acknowledged by Upper Deck until almost a month after the product's release. Cards R1 and R4 are exclusive to Wal-Mart packs, while R2 and R3 are exclusive to Target packs. Although Upper Deck never announced the insertion ratios, it appears that Target-exclusive cards were tougher to pull than the Wal-Mart cards.
