Going after Dwight Howard and Chris Paul...How good would they be if they got both!
Won't happen, but they would probably win the title if they pull out the miracle.

Making Mike Brown one of the most overrated coaches in history.

I would love to see them pick up one. Bynum still has enough value to be the centerpiece of a trade too.

They aren't getting both...but even one of them could make them a favorite.

Many teams are going after CP3, Dwight, and Deron. Doesn't mean they will get them all, or even 1 or 2.
If the Lakers were to get Dwight they would have to give up Bynum & Odom at the minimum. I feel that Gasol should be included as well. Dwight is the best big man in the league and a top 3 player in the game. He's worth those 3 players in my opinion. No team is going to hand over their superstars the way the Grizzlies did Gasol for Kwame Brown back in 2007.
I feel that the Clippers are a great destination for either of those 3 players as they have young talent to build around with Gordon and Griffin. They could offer a packaged deal that includes Minnesota's unprotected 2012 1st round Draft pick (Loaded draft.. possibly the #1 overall pick - Anthony Davis, Andre Drummond), Eric Bledsoe, Al-Faruq Aminu, Chris Kaman, etc.
I'm hoping Deron ends up with the Clippers. That would be awesome :D
PG - Deron
SG - Gordon
SF - Free Agent Pickup (Prince, AK47, Butler, Hill, etc)
PF - Griffin
C - Jordan
Now that's a team! :)

Yea i think clippers is better off with younger people, we don't need dwight howard to take away rebounds from blake and i don't think deron williams fit in that equation.

Imagine Blake Griffin and Dwight Howard's highlight reel if they were playing alongside. If I was a PG for the clipps, I'd just close my eyes and throw the ball towards the hoop and I'd know one of those two would get me an asst.

While I agree that Dwight may not be the best fit for the Clippers(even though I'd be happy to take him ;) ), when did Deron Williams qualify as old? I would LOVE for Deron to join the Clippers. He'd instantly be the greatest PG in franchise history(seriously, check out the list, Baron almost qualifies), and he'd have a better team around him than he's ever had before. Deron is the top of my want list, followed closely by CP3. We need a real PG, along with a free-agent SF.

It is the Lakers and precious Kobe Bryant so i am sure this deal does go down. If it does go down I don't see how they don't win the Finals this year and in years to come.

For sheer insane entertainment value, I'm hoping t he Clippers somehow draft Kendall Marshall next year.
I think that their own pick may be in that 10-15ish range anyway, and can you imagine Kendall Marshall with Blake? Marshall plays basketball like Rex Grossman - willing to go long virtually every time up the court.

Where do you see them going after both Paul and Dwight? They will get one or the other but it is near impossible for them to get both.

Lakers have the upper hand over any other team for Dwight as they have what the Magic is looking for - a young Big man (Bynum).. Although Bynum is injury prone, he has the best size, potential & youth the Magic is looking for and im sure will take that chance. Not to mention Dwight wants to go to a huge market(brightest lights) and the Magic is trying to accommodate him, where is that - Laker town - cant deny that.. Stars come out to watch you play - shet, they are even trying to find tickets!! Most of the NBA teams mentioned that is interested, they cant even get locals to come out and watch a game.. another team he can prob go to is the Bulls, but I doubt.. and Paul, I doubt the Lakers can get him, even if they do, they will have no dept as they prob have to get rid of Gasol & Odom, lets say that happens and Paul gets hurt - umm there is gona be problems!!
