And this is on a team with no QB. Can you imagine how he would do if they didn't have eight guys in the box?

Final rushing stats: 30 carries, 296 yards, 3 TDs

Hopefully GB can contain him like they did the first time they played.

A quick look on eBay - nearly every decent-priced BIN has been bought in the last few hours.

Thank you AP....46 pts for me in ff league this week (and thats deducting 2 pts for the fumble)! Starting to seriously think the scouts were right and said he was that good (compared him to emmitt I think)

Maybe this means I will be able to move my bowman chrome cases at a profit.

Can you imagine what his bowman chrome parallels would be going for right now if that product was live?

Imagine if I didn't drop Brees after one of his ZERO point weeks ? I'd have had about 100 points from just 2 players in our FF league today. First and last time I ever give up on one of my top picks even if they have one bad game after another like Brees was having.

Lynch's game today for Buffalo would be good any other week, but looks average compared to AP.

Based on the odds from last year, you have about a 5% shot in each case at any Bowman Chrome Peterson autos with the dreaded group A odds, but you should get some nice #d non-auto inserts from Peterson if you break enough cases.

I am glad I was able to pick up the three cards of his that I did. At the rate his singles are going for now, I will only be able to pull him out of box's.

I have watched AP for a long time and, while I'm not going to say I saw this coming, I knew he would or should be a superstar. Health is and always will be the only concern.

I didn't get to see much of him today but I did see the 46 yard TD, all I can say is I knew he was gone as soon as he hit the line.

As for my fantasy team I am up 130-102 and I still have the Pitt D, and I had Jennings, Romo and Evans on my bench. :/

I've been following AP for awhile as well and I remember posting on the old board how I wished he would leave OU after his sophmore season before Bob Stoops killed him with all the carries. The guy has a very rare combination of speed and strength that reminds me of watching the old highlites of Jim Brown. AP might actually be BETTER than Brown because Brown was bigger than ALOT of the guys trying to tackle him back then.
One thing that bothers me with AP is he needs to know when he got all he can out of the play. Use the sidelines or stop trying to drag 2 defenders for another yard or two while 2 or 3 other guys get hits on you. All those extra hits add up fast in a few years and take their toll , just ask my all-time favorite RB Earl Campbell. Brad Childress needs to get in his ear and while not try and change his aggressive running style, just a little fine tuning on how to know when to finish a run. That worked for Emmitt and Barry who both used the sidelines to their advantage and prolonged their careers.

As for the hobby aspect of AP, there are a few things that make me wonder if he can sustain this huge wave of appeal with collectors. I can remember back ten years when a big strong RB, though not as fast as AP, burst on the scene on a nationally televised game and shattered the single game rookie rushing record and eventually the full season rookie record as well. His stuff was on fire but that died out quickly. Corey Dillion ring a bell ? I know Dillion had the surley attitude and was on the Bengals but its not like the Vikes are going to be a great team any time soon. Collectors tend to have short memories with their spending habits.

Shame the Vikes don't have any passing game what-so-ever because he could make a run at the 2,000 yard mark. They play some so-so defenses after GB next week. Oakland, Detroit, San Fran, Chicago (he torched them once already) and Denver all are suspect. Could he get 3 or 4 200+ yard games before its over ???

All I can say is I'm glad that the Eagles were the late game yesterday or I might not have got to see the Bolts - Vikes game due to the t.v. contract.

I was at Lambeau for the game today - gotta love the stress-free blowouts and laughing at the Viking fans who made the trip to GB. AD looked to be fine after the game. Hopefully it's nothing serious as he's pretty much carrying the '07 FB products these days.

I didn't know you were a pack fan. I love the vikes, I grew up outside of minneapolis. My wife and I plan on taking a trip up to there in the next couple of years to catch a game. I would like to see my vikes play you guys when I go, but I just want to get to experience that atmosphere once.

Thanks for not wishing ill on us, and Peterson. I sure hope he is ok.

Tear in his LCL - doesn't sound like he'll be out for the year but who knows.
Sucks for me in the FFL but at least I was smart enough to keep Chester Taylor all year long just in case something like this happened. Now I have to decide between playing him or Lendale on a weekly basis:confused:
