View Full Version : Just had Ryan Mount (AAA Angels Player) speak with me

Im a real estate agent who works for a builder & log story short he walked in & told me he plays AAA ball for the Angels. I asked for his name looked him up & sure enough he does play for them.

He thinks the home prices will keep going down which is wonderful...Not

Anyway hopefully the kid makes it because he's been playing in the minors for a while now.

Anybody have any idea if the kid could get a call up some time?

Just out of curiousity.

Looks like he's been in the minors for a while now (since 05). Last year in double A he had a great season. Maybe hell get a September call up

Thats cool. He's been playing for quite a while. What do you think is keeping him from the majors? Just curious.

Mid to low .200s avg doesn't bring you to the majors.

Looking on eBay looks like he has cards in 05 BC and Sterling. And autos in 07 Sterling

Not sure. most likely an injury of some sort though. He seems in good shape though from what I could tell.

Yeah, he's battled injuries for a while now. I don't think he played at all in 2010. His ceiling is as a part-time utility/2B/OF, but he may spend his career in the minors...
