I am looking into purchasing a couple 6 box cases of Bowman Chrome. Is says they come directly from Topps, so I was thinking I would receive those sooner. My question is, is there anything I would be missing out on, like a case hit or anything? Just wondering if there is anything that I need to consider. Thanks

i don't know why, but disrtibutors get the 12 box cases from Topps (which are usually two 6 box inner cases)..... and hobby shops get the 6 box cases.

Bowman Chrome doesn't have a guaranteed case hit.

Thanks guys, and for re-sale, would anyone care that it is a six box compared to a 12 box?

No sir they won't. Just keep it sealed sir and your good to go. Actually I think you can get a slightly better per box price because the transaction itself is for a lower total amount.

Exactly. If the 12 box case moves up to a $1,000 case, that puts the 6 box inner case at $500. There are a lot more buyers that can swing $500 - $550 for a sealed case.

from 2002 to present that has never been the case - 12 box cases are just a single case. not sure about prior to 2002.

Sounds good. The only problem is, while I was asking this question the cases got sold (just my luck). I was able to secure one 6 box case to go along with my other 4 twelve box cases though. Here's to hoping we all do well on this years BC
