I thought that all Bowman Chrome refractors were numbered /99 . eBay - New & used electronics, cars, apparel, collectibles, sporting goods & more at low prices (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=110798017569&ssPageName=ADME:X:RTQ:US:1123#ht_500wt_1203)
I asked the guy about it and he said
There is no serial number. Not all refractors have one. I will say this, i am also basing my description off of other listings of the same card. So if you feel hesitant about bidding, please don't. I don't want you to be dissapointed or unhappy in any way if you were to win this auction for this listing. Thank your for your interest. Any other questions or concerns, feel free to contact me.
That makes a difference because the regular version is $12 and the refractor is $100. Kinda of slimy if that is the case, if not let me know guys.

if it's a refractor it will be #/99
INSERT CARDS - 9 PER HOBBY BOX!
Bowman Chrome: 30 rookies featured on a limited edition Chromed 2011 Bowman Football design. Also available in a numbered to 99 Refractor version
don't always assume the worst from sellers. there are tons of people who open a product without knowing anything about the product. politely tell him that the sell sheet product description (and the odds on the back of the pack) clearly indicate that refractors should be numbered out of 99 and he is mistaken about the card he has.

I feel you but when he stated "Not all refractors have one. I will say this, i am also basing my description off of other listings of the same card. So if you feel hesitant about bidding, please don't." that made me think he now knows he is wrong and will not take the listing down so some unsuspecting person will get screwed. The pic is so bad you can not tell if there is a serial number or not. If I thought I was getting a $100 and got a $12 card I would be pissed, especially if my wife bought it thinking she was getting me some special I really wanted ( this has happened before ) .

just tell him that you know for a fact that all refractors are #/99. then direct him to the sell sheet info on Blowout.

He absolutely knows it is not a refractor. He is playing dumb that the card has the same exact look and will claim he didnt know what makes a refractor different, hence the comparable listings line. Completely trying to cover his own a$$. Fail.

Ok I sent him a message if I get no response I will have to report it, but I am not sure what to select when reporting to get it taken down. Thanks for the help guys. Can you really put no refunds and not have to issue a refund even if the item is not as described ?

Buyer is 100% covered even if seller states no refund. It's not a refractor so the card is "Not as described" & the case is won.

better yet buy it...have him ship it...open a not as described case, and ebay will cover your returnshipping........But I'd play the I'll ship this back at YOUR cost....so I don't have to open a case against you......he pays shipping twice and the dooswazzle (didn't want to use the real word I wanted to) returns all your money, or you just open a case when he tries to not give you your shipping fees back that you paid for his delivery!!
