Case will be broken live on Ustream.TV the day case is received @ around 5 PM PST
Random will be conducted after all payments are made
I will request full insurance w/ signature confirmation be paid for hits over $250.
Shipping costs will only be assessed to those who receive a card in the break.




Rules:


The graded rookie card (main "hit") will go to the team featured on the jersey of the player on the card (regardless of if the player is on a new team currently). If there is no team visible on the jersey, then the card will go to the team listed on the card. If there is no team listed on the card, then the card will go to the most recent team that player has played with.

We will be going by current divisional standing for each of the sports.

We will be going by current team linkage for teams that no longer exist

If somehow a card is not from "other-sports" and somehow evades all these criteria, the card will be randomized among all participating members in that BOX

Post randomized positions correspond to a sport/division in each box. Ex. Post random spot #8 is MLB-AL Central in box #1 , and Post random spot #34 is NBA-Southwest in box #2.

I will open the case right side up (with labels facing upwards in correct direction) and either pick cases going down or from left to right (Depending on case configuration). So top/top left case will be box #1, 2nd to top/top right will be box #2, and so on.

What are the options?
1) Assign to team the player first played on in the NFL.
2) Random the card to those with hits in that box.
3) In the case of the USFL - did the city pictured get an NFL team?
4) ???

Honestly it's a long shot that it's even an issue but I agree we need a decision before we bust next week.

What are the options?
1) Assign to team the player first played on in the NFL.
2) Random the card to those with hits in that box.
3) In the case of the USFL - did the city pictured get an NFL team?
4) ???

Honestly it's a long shot that it's even an issue but I agree we need a decision before we bust next week.

per the rules I set for this break

Rules:
The graded rookie card (main "hit") will go to the team featured on the jersey of the player on the card (regardless of if the player is on a new team currently). If there is no team visible on the jersey, then the card will go to the team listed on the card. If there is no team listed on the card, then the card will go to the most recent team that player has played with.
We will be going by current divisional standing for each of the sports.
We will be going by current team linkage for teams that no longer exist
If somehow a card is not from "other-sports" and somehow evades all these criteria, the card will be randomized among all participating members in that BOX



A couple thoughts:

-college uniforms - would they go to the team draft?

-USFL league football - who would these go to?

college uniforms should go to the team who drafted them...which would most likely be stated on the card.

per the rules of this break I created:
