We really hate spammers where they only post their ebay auctions. If we were interested I am sure we would find it. Every since these contest have been running it is unreal how many spammers are on here now.

how bout.... putting a link to your ebay store in your sig or in your profile so it appears under your user name like wolffer - and contributing to the community instead of just spamming... like wolffer said, if people are interested, they will look.

This is beginning to sound a little like the B board. The title is The Marketplace>The Place to Buy, Sell, and Trade your singles. What's wrong with what he did? :)

I kind of agree with Iam4car3, but it would be nice if someone who sells on eBay contributed to the board because I'm sure he could, especially in basketball since that is the one sport where we seem to have a knowledge gap compared to the other big sports.

sorry if i ticked you guys off but it is just annoying to see these pop up all the time. Also a lot of these ppl only leave 1 post and that is it to promote their auctions. We all know where ebay is and if we really want to find something we know how to without a link to your store. Sorry it just drives me crazy.

Wolffer - I tend to agree with you. First post usually is an introduction and then some contributions before a GIANT e-bay link.
Is there a law against it? Of course not, but the "codes of conduct" this board has always adhered to are what have always set it apart from the ridiculousness on the other boards.
Personally, I NEVER even discuss my e-bay auctions on the board or post a link. Whoever is interested will find it!

To tell you the truth, I am far more likely to patronize auctions of "regulars" on this board rather than the "one post wonder" that blasts his ebay link for his intro. I mean how many other boards are there, and do some just post their auction across every one? Maybe too much rant. Sorry if it was....

Everybody is entitled to their own opinions.I believe that his post conforms to the rules of this forum. Now if he came on here blasting everyone, trying to sell boxes and cases, and you can fill in from here there are several other reasons to be booted off. I know that we all see things a little different and that doesn't bother me if fact I like to see and hear different opinions to mine the main reason being is that I am not right all of the time. :)! :)

sorry to cause such a fuss, it was my first post on the boards and I was surfing around and got busy. Anyway I look forward to "contributing" to this board.
