I'm selling my Jeter and Ripken auto card. It's BV is $600. I'm asking $600 but I'll consider all offers. I'm only going to offer the card this weekend so if you're interested send me an offer. It came out of 2004 Ultimate Collection. #14/25.

This EXACT card (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=120392608935) was offered on ebay for $349.95 BIN within the last month with no apparent winner. Something seems fishy to me.
Personally, I'd rather have this card (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=140309118174) for 1/3 of the price.

IMO I don't think this card would even get $200 on eBay.

Felipe unless you are the original Ebay seller (RBSKIE) of this card you have some serious explaining to do. If you are the seller of the card thanks for coming to the Blowout Board to attempt to sell something for more than $250 more than you could not get on Ebay.
Not looking good either way.....
Hey guys lets give him a break. It is his card and he can set whatever price he wants. Plus he is noob with zero itrader feedbacks......I am seriously considering picking this up from him :rolleyes::rolleyes::eek::eek::eek::p:p:p:p

Based on the 6 player signed card (http://www.blowoutcards.com/forums/ebay-online-selling-shows/24319-good-deal.html) that he said he picked up for $525 (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=290307024330) the other day, he couldn't have been the original seller because the feedback numbers don't match-up. Although the Jeter/Ripken had a rejected offer (http://offer.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewBidsLogin&item=120392608935) from someone that would have matched his feedback. So I'm guessing the seller must have ended the auction early to take his offer and save the fees. So it could be legit that he owns this card. What doesn't make sense is why someone who clearly paid well less than the original $350 BIN price would want to resell the card almost immediately after they would have received it, and feel that they should ask at least double if not triple what they paid for it. People are free to ask whatever they want for a card if they own it, but you're not going to win over many friends on a buy/sell/trade forum pulling stuff like this...

wow...some great comments guys...I did purchase the card off of RBSKIE for an undisclosed amount. I'm asking 600 because that's what I would like to get for it but we all know that wants won't cut it in this world. I've made it clear that I am also considering offers on the card...if you're interested and want to offer 1/3 of what I'm asking...offer me that.

you don't own the card...I am 99.9% sure you are trying to scam people on this board.
If you are legit, take a digital picture of the card with a piece of paper under or next to the card with your "felipefortyfour" name and blowoutcards written on it to prove you are in possession of the card.

Well...he clipped the pic from the original listing obviously because they are the same and he's obviously a novice to Ebay, just look at how he lists his items - no mention of year, brand, etc.
I too would like to see a brand new scan with a background as well. Produce that by tonight and you're all good.

ya selling a card with no pic wont get you far, even if you take the pic off the guys auction...we all see you had a declined offer...so how do we know for sure you have the card? a simple scan with your blowout name is all we ask, so we can move on :)

thats the same pic as before. Is it not? They wanted a new backround with the card, like on the floor, or on a stool, or a pic with the card on the stool which is clearly on the floor. any of those options would make these gentlemen happy.

...I've included the back of the card...if its truly necessary I can take a picture and post it...but if you look on ebay I don't think the back of the card can be found. Like I said...the card is mine. I started the thread to get offers on the card not so much to be accused of ripping you guys off. I posted what I would like for the card ($600) but that I was considering ALL offers...I just got the card and I really wasn't planning on selling it but everything does have a price and if someone was going to offer me more than what I paid for it...I'd probobly take the offer...this card has been way too much trouble and as such...it is off the market. I still would like to clear my name so if you guys really want a different picture let me know.

After doing some investigating on my last post, I have no reason to think you're not the owner of the card. It checks out that you submitted an offer for the card and then the seller ended the auction early. It makes sense that he would have done that to sell it to you and circumvent the fees. All I took issue with was how much you were asking for the card... but as you said, you were accepting offers. I would have just said that to begin with and not said you were asking full book. Anyway, you don't need to jump through hoops to "regain trust" or whatever. You've proven you own the card in my eyes... you're just asking too much for it IMO. But to each their own. Welcome to the forums and try not to let this thread rattle you. :)
