I have a friend in the Colts organization who had an item I wanted badly for a while. After 2 years of being persistent, I finally convinced him to work a trade with me. Helmet is a Riddell Revolution, custom face mask, quick release face mask attachments, some light areas of wear, etc,... My buddy swears he has the custom chin strap "in a box somewhere" and will send it when he finds it. Definitely one of the favorite items in my game used collection!

wow thats awesome, mind telling us what kind of trade value was involved in something like this?

id hate to run across any player and miss a good deal

A couple higher end game used hockey sticks, and 3 signed baseball bats for his new game room. Also a little cash. It didn't come cheap, but much cheaper than buying one at auction!
