Wow, just wow, if those little lucky lotto balls bounce my way this week, this'll be in my cross-hairs.....

Doubt it'll sell for as much as henderson's jersey, but that should go for a pretty penny.

I bet it will go more than Henderson's jersey. Hockey is more important in Canada but there are enough rich hockey nuts here in the states.

That's true. Didn't this jersey only sell for $300000 before? It'll be tough to break the million mark, but it wouldn't shock me.

I doubt it will sell for more than the Henderson. Now if it were Eruzione or Craig's jersey, then I could see it possibly reaching that mark.

Is Ken Morrow needing dough or something? Why is this up for auction? He was actually a really integral part of that team and went on to have one of the longest NHL careers of any of them if memory serves...

I'm guessing he needs money.

I'm also guessing the Gold Medal would be more of a "priceless souvenir" of the achievement than the jersey so that's why he chose to sell that.

"Do some planning for the future" = flat broke. He had a good career but wasn't money-making material (i.e. Gretzky, Lemieux, Messier, etc.). His hockey money couldn't last him forever.
