No but real talk, fans are ignorant...The people sending death threats prob couldnt catch a cold, let alone a football, as real athletes know the pressures to perform in front of fans so it def. wasn't people with skills that sent the threats..It takes a lot of talent and a lot of confidence to play in front of millions of fans...The Majority of the people in the world wouldn't have the courage to play in front of that many people, let alone the skill...Just sucks to see idiots sending comments like that when they in no way shape or form could perform better

I am not a 49ers fan, so I can't imagine how frustrating that must have been. However, making a death threat is absolutely insane. I get as annoyed as anyone when my team losess, but at the end of the day it's just sports.

Being a 49ers fan I find this pathetic and embarrassing. I was frustrated and yelling at the TV and blood was boiling etc....but to threaten a guy and his family? Absolutely ridiculous. These are probably the same lunatics that attack refs and players at their kids football games. Those people I don't consider fans at all.
On another note, forget the two fumbles. I would like to know why Alex Smith felt it necessary to throw the ball At the ground so much instead of at the receiver. Or why throw a 2 yard pass when you need to get down the field 30 yards. Nice to see Smith did not think the game was important enough to actually show up. Glad I am remodeling the back of our house and had 2 more walls to take down. Helped with the frustration. Haha

whats amazing is that i doubt anyone making the threats or even commenting on this post play for or are a part of the 49er organization...fans n people who dont have a a tiny bit of the ability that this kid or any nfl player have, think they can talk tough...Meanwhile if the kid returned the punt for a td, hed be getting an espy in a few months lol or comeback player of the yr/game.. unreal

As soon as I heard about the threats it made me think of the SF Giants fan that was almost killed leaving the Dodgers game. It's a shame that these things happen in our society.
