preorder shipping question

when you preorder, how long does it take to receive your boxes (assuming you take the cheap/free shipping)?

depends where you're at but they usually arrive to you the day of release, maybe next day.

So does that mean they ship out ahead of time to try and get the cards to arrive on release day?

Or do they ship out on release day and some people just live around the block from the warehouse?

I'm right on the 4day side of the 3day/4day boundry on thier shipping map:

should I expect 4 days after release or do you think they ship a couple days early to get be closer to 1-2 days after release?

- Presell items will ship the same day we receive them (almost always within 1 business day of the product's release date).
so they do ship early if they get it early...but probably not gonna get to me before the weekend...drat

I have only ordered 3 times from BO (just been back in the hobby less than a year). My first order was a case of Topps series 2 Jumbos that got to me on release day. My 2 boxes of Lineage didn't get to me until the following Wednesday but I think there was a problem on release day with those. My 2 boxes of Tier One didn't get to me until Monday.
