Wow. Not sure if anyone else is watching the oilers game, but Sam Gagner has 7 points (4 goals, 3 assists) against the Chicago Blackhawks!, and is one point away from tying the oilers team record!

Holy Crap! Gagner just scored AGAIN!!! That makes it 5 goals, three assists, tying him with Wayne Gretzky and Paul Coffey for the team record! And still 3 minutes left! Let's hope he doesn't break Sittler's record!

My Blackhawks need to get it together. These are the games they need to win. This is twice this year they have gone up to Edmonton and just absolutely got destroyed. 17 goals given up in the two games. Pathetic.

That being said, congrats to Gagner on the fantastic game.

I had to pull out all my gagner rc's again tonight...... Unbelievable!
Hall and Ebs with 4 pts each as well.

Sammy was given 1st, 2nd, and 3rd stars of the game tonight.

Not too often you see a Gretzky team record touched!

Great accomplishment but you have to chalk this up to one of those "Games of his Life". Gagner was highly touted when drafted but has been a 15 goal scorer per year on Avg., that output last night doubled his total for the year! Still when you see who has done this in the past (last being M. Lemieux) it was a pretty impressive list and will go down as his career highlight indeed! Maybe this will get him rolling.

Ya ... 22 points so far this year and then 8 in one night!

Here's hoping he can keep the confidence of this amazing feat.

Good god. Gagner has 3 points tonight! That makes it 11 points in 3 periods (not in one game, of course!). This is unbelievable!

On a side note, SITTLER'S RECORD STILL STANDS! Sorry, I had to put that. That's all we leaf fans have, that record. God bless you Darryl Sittler.

It would take a fluky game for Sittler's record to go down.

Are you calling Darryl Sittler's 10 point game a fluke?

I guess this got him rolling, this kid could be something special along with all the other young talent. There is a bright future in Edmonton indeed!

What else would you consider a record that has stood intact for 36 years! Good God I know your trying to find something positive with the Leafs albeit something that occured 36 years ago, but lets use some common sense as opposed to your "heart on your sleeve"
