F BB....better options than Hardy?

Given standard BB scoring..would you keep JJ Hardy on your roster (I've got him currently in my SS/2B option, using Tulo as my SS and Cano as my 2B. I could use some speed, but my biggest issue right now is a few players and slows starts (Ortiz for starters..plus being a DH I can only use him in my UTIL slot...plus I opted to take Arod in our draft so I'm stuck waiting for him to come back then have to figure out who I'll be dropping...at this point Ankiel or Soto depending on how hot Molina stays, but may also get rid of one one of my middle relivers just to keep a roster spot open but figure that might start costing me points in the long run).

I know these are the top five available:

Akinori Iwamura, TB 2B - tons of potential and probably my 1st option

Cristian Guzman, Was SS

Rickie Weeks, Mil 2B DTD - DTD but so is Hardy at this point. Figuring most of the Brew Crew's front line up has plenty of scoring options

David Eckstein, SD 2B, SS FA - Great for contact just little power.

Freddy Sanchez, Pit 2B

I don't know how much help I can be, except to tell you that I have Iwamura on my team and he has done well. I'm stacked at 2B with Ian Kinsler, Aaron Hill, & Iwamura, but he's done just as well for me as the other guys....with the exception of Kinsler's 6/6 day. I'm also stuck with Ortiz and his slow start and DH limitations.

With Kinsler and Hill I'm more worried about fast starts and/or when they come back down to normal. Iwamura is in his 3rd (?) year and could possibly be setting a solid pace. Also think Weeks could be ready to show his potential. Just really don't know much about Hardy. Tulo is showing what he had during his 07 year (yeah me and my 07 SPA's Lettermans) and Cano over the years has been really consistent for 2B and given the lineup he's in you really just need to get on base and more times than not someone will hit you home.

I agree...I'm riding the Hill & Kinsler wave until they come back down to normal. I'm more worried about Hill than Kinsler, however. Tulo would be a great addition to a team. I've always been a fan of his, and remember his 07 season well. You could be right about Iwamura setting a solid pace...only time will tell. Hardy is a tough one. If he were on my team, I'd have a hard time deciding whether or not to keep him if I knew I had decent guys in my 2B & SS positions. IMO he's a hot, then cold, then hot again-type player, (then again, so are alot of others). I have a chance to pick up Weeks, do you think that would be a good option...I can't decide whether to risk it with him. I know he has had all this potential, but we just haven't seen it yet. I guess if I were in your situation, I'd stick with Hardy or pick up Iwamura. Just a thought, however.
