Hey guys I am working on the 2008 UD Masterpieces Captured on Canvas Jersey Autograph set. Does any one know how to check to see how many of these cards were produced for each player in the set?? I would like to get an idea of how hard this set may be to put together. Any help would be great and if you have any let me know if they are ft. Thanks

I did 26 cases of 07 but I also busted 5 cases of 08 or so.

The problem with this set is the same as many UD auto sets. That is, the production numbers of a particular card could be as low as 10-15. Doesn't mean that they aren't available, just means you might have to pay a lot for them. Example is Nolan Ryan. I'd say that there may be as many as 100-200 of one card and 10-25 of another. I know that with the 07 Masterpieces auto set, the Frank Thomas is about as easy to find as a Yeti.

I do know that another blowout member, GyrlJock24 may have more info. She busted a ton of 08's. I believe she recently parted with a number of these cards.

I sent an email to Upper Deck to see if they can tell me. Anyone have any luck getting a response from them??

joecollector- thanks for the insight, I know there are 2 Nolan Ryans and 2 Derek Jeters in the set. So ya it may get a little pricey if they are that limited. I did contact GyrlJock to see if she had any info, I actually bought a hand full of the cards she had for sale on the bay.

Upper Deck does not release non serial numbered set print runs as a general rule.
