Capt - Just as an FYI I pulled the same Mattingly/Clemens Cityscape card you did out of my box. It sold very quickly for $99 BIN.

yeah i noticed that it had been selling around that. i threw it up there with a 105 BIN or 4.99 auction. someone emailed requesting it end it.. i told him i'd end it for the same bin. he never got back so i jstu threw up the bin lol

I think you could have gotten more. I would have paid at least $150 for it had I not already had one.

Please don't think I'm trying to rub salt in a wound. I don't think there's any wound here anyway. :) I'm just saying that people are selling this stuff too low right now. For instance, a Pete Rose gold auto sold for $650 BIN. One a few days earlier sold for $405 BIN. There are many, many instances of this. I have been following this product a lot. Too much probably, but most of these cards are way undervalued right now.

LOL jk. oh well.... the clemente has gone for about 50-60 on ebay... as has the Roy Jsy... maybe about 35 for the beard... thats about more than half back... i guess im okay with that considering it was an impulse buy (it was either that or a box of Ultimate football).

It seems to be "hit and miss" on the bids with SportKings. I had a mini Bart Star starting at $9.99 and expected about $24.00 after reviewing past auctions. It went for $45.00.
I've also seen base and minis get hardly a bid and a day later new items, same athletes, are getting decent prices.
I think time will help all SportKings pieces as people work on sets or player collections and get used to the variety of stuff out there.

I think you are exactly right Vinny. If I were selling, I'd have a little higher BIN prices, and if they don't sell at first, I'd hold off a week and try again.

Because I didn't buy any of this stuff other than the breaks we did, I think I am going to hold onto the 3 mini's I won for the long haul.

What do you think? Marciano, Seaver and Holmes.

The Helmuth Jersey and auto and the Ferigno Shirt I might have to sell. I don't see those going up at all in value. Any advice?

my Marciano mini is at $45.00 (with 6 watchers) and doesn't end until tonight on eBay. I think the boxing and horse racing Sportkings will always do fine.

I sold my Marciano Mini for $85 total, one of the highest sellers for the Mini version :)

Marciano is the only one I need for the complete set of minis. We pulled 3 of those too during our group case break. If any of you want to sell, I will definitely buy one.

My mini cards have been selling great, but the base cards are weakening. In the end I do think these cards will be solid, though. When is our next group break???:D

My Mosconi base went for $24(the most of any base I sold), Nolan Ryan went for $14, My Freddy Adu Silver auto went for $41 and I sold a couple of more base for $10. I still have 3 or 4 base left that didn't sell! I made half my money back from the two slots I bought!

Yeah - I think it's about to swing the other way? It will dry up pretty fast, and as "new" collectors that find out about this product will look for player collections - I predict it will get hot again. I mean...NOTHING is produced over 100.

I love this product too. Too bad we couldn't pool some money together to buy some master cases at these lower prices and put them away until Series B comes out. I honestly think these unopened boxes/cases will get HOT once B is here. I'll be holding onto my unopened cases.
