Toews has Concussion

It has been reported that Toews has suffered a concussion in a game on 2/10 vs. San Jose, another head injury to an NHL marquee player! This #@#@#@#@ is starting to get out of hand and I know Shanahan is doing eveything possible to curb the recent "high-rate" of head shots' but is the league really doing enough? Not sure if it's because most players in the past did not come forward and attempted to play through with concussion symptoms, and now they immediately go through mandatory testing and diagnosis, but it's really starting to become a weekly occurance throughout the league, with a hugh impact that has effected a number of teams!

The floggings will continue until Bettman acknowledges his two illegitimate children of the NHL (elimination of the redline and the trapezoid) were bad mistakes on his part. And we know that won't happen....

Toews was in a fender bender too so how much did that play into his problems ?

No way in hell do I want to see the two line pass stoppage brought back into the game. Throw in the automatic icing when it's obvious but for the love of Lord Stanly don't put the red line back into play.
