Recent Pickups The Vampire Diaries

Here are some recent pickups from the Cryptozoic The Vampire Diaries set. Huge thanks to HitDogg44 for the majority of these. This was my first venture into non sports cards and was surprised at the prices some of this stuff went for. I think Cryptozoic did a great job getting every main character to sign and the cards look pretty good. Does anyone have an idea of what the print run was on this stuff?

Nice! One day I'll pick up the top 3 at least (plus Kat of course :D), I'm too consumed with Walking Dead and a few other series right now lol.

That was my thought originally getting the top 3 with Kat then it sort of morphed from there to getting all the main characters. I have a really cool Idea of something I wanna do with them. I think my next project will be Walking Dead thou. I at least wanna get autographs from the main characters then we will see about the other stuff. I really hope they do another series with Rick, Lori, Dale, and the other girl. That way it would be somewhat of a complete set of the regulars.

They never said for sure but I believe they said they did 500 cases of The Walking Dead and that this was produced at no more than that amount. The coalation and many of the cards being somewhat damaged out of the pack hurt this release but, you can tell by the eBay auctions that many of the big names are very difficult to pull and the sale prices are quite good for them. I've seen many cases opened that don't have the Dobrev auto in there or the Accola.

Thanks for the info and you are definitely right about the Dobrev and Accola. From what I've noticed from looking at auctions and case/box breaks the first 9 autos are much harder pulls then the others. With Dobrev, Wesley, Somerholder, and Accola being even harder to get.

No problem. If you're looking for a similar type message board for non-sport product info on releases like this, there are a couple of the manufacturers that post regularly on both non sports card forum as well as non sports update.
